My Pahiyas Festival Experience

Me, my parents and grandmother (momsie) went to my ninang Clarissa's hometown in Lucban Quezon and spent our weekend and celebrate with her family the Pahiyas Festival.
Pahiyas Festival is a whole weekend celebration in honor of their patron Saint, San Isidro Labrador, It is my first ever festival. We walked and hopped from one house to another and enjoy the beautiful and fascinating decorations of each houses, there are hundreds of houses who participate in this festival every year.
There were a variety of gimmicks in each houses just to catch the attention of the judges. After a a couple of minutes of walk we watched the town's parade, I saw different "karosa", pansit habhap carts, carabaos and fashion outfits made of native materials.
I also saw familiar faces like Ninang Lilet, Tito Joseph, Tito John and a few more friends in Lingkod, we also saw Tita Mara with her Sam.
The following day we went to "Kamay Ni Hesus" (Hands of Jesus) to attend Mass. We climbed a couple of steps before we let momsie and dad continue climbing. We waited for them in a nearby canteen.
The trip may be tiring but I obviously enjoyed my stay in Lucban. A whole new experiences and learning once more.

Have a nice day to all,
